1கர்த்தாவே, உமது தேசத்தின்மேல் பிரியம் வைத்து, யாக்கோபின் சிறையிருப்பைத் திருப்பினீர்.
LORD, you have been favorable to your land. You have restored the fortunes of Jacob.

2உமது ஜனத்தின் அக்கிரமத்தை மன்னித்து, அவர்கள் பாவத்தையெல்லாம் மூடினீர். (சேலா)
You have forgiven the iniquity of your people. You have covered all their sin. Selah. *

3உமது உக்கிரத்தையெல்லாம் அடக்கிக்கொண்டு, உமது கோபத்தின் எரிச்சலைவிட்டுத் திரும்பினீர்.
You have taken away all your wrath. You have turned from the fierceness of your anger.

4எங்கள் இரட்சிப்பின் தேவனே, நீர் எங்களைத் திருப்பிக் கொண்டுவாரும், எங்கள்மேலுள்ள உமது கோபத்தை ஆறப்பண்ணும்.
Turn us, God of our salvation, and cause your indignation toward us to cease.

5என்றைக்கும் எங்கள்மேல் கோபமாயிருப்பீரோ? தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக உமது கோபத்தை நீடித்திருக்கப்பண்ணுவீரோ?
Will you be angry with us forever? Will you draw out your anger to all generations?

6உமது ஜனங்கள் உம்மில் மகிழ்ந்திருக்கும்படி நீர் எங்களைத் திரும்ப உயிர்ப்பிக்கமாட்டீரோ?
Won’t you revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?

7கர்த்தாவே, உமது கிருபையை எங்களுக்குக் காண்பித்து, உமது இரட்சிப்பை எங்களுக்கு அருளிச்செய்யும்.
Show us your loving kindness, LORD. Grant us your salvation.

8கர்த்தராகிய தேவன் விளம்புவதைக் கேட்பேன்; அவர் தம்முடைய ஜனங்களுக்கும் தம்முடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்கும் சமாதானம் கூறுவார்; அவர்களோ மதிகேட்டுக்குத் திரும்பாதிருப்பார்களாக.
I will hear what God, the LORD, will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, his saints; but let them not turn again to folly.

9நம்முடைய தேசத்தில் மகிமை வாசமாயிருக்கும்படி, அவருடைய இரட்சிப்பு அவருக்குப் பயந்தவர்களுக்குச் சமீபமாயிருக்கிறது.
Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.

10கிருபையும், சத்தியமும் ஒன்றையொன்று சந்திக்கும், நீதியும் சமாதானமும் ஒன்றையொன்று முத்தஞ்செய்யும்.
Mercy and truth meet together. Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

11சத்தியம் பூமியிலிருந்து முளைக்கும், நீதி வானத்திலிருந்து தாழப்பார்க்கும்.
Truth springs out of the earth. Righteousness has looked down from heaven.

12கர்த்தர் நன்மையானதைத் தருவார்; நம்முடைய தேசமும் தன் பலனைக் கொடுக்கும்.
Yes, the LORD will give that which is good. Our land will yield its increase.

13நீதி அவருக்கு முன்னாகச் சென்று, அவருடைய அடிச்சுவடுகளின் வழியிலே நம்மை நிறுத்தும்.
Righteousness goes before him, and prepares the way for his steps.
