1என் பெலனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உம்மில் அன்புகூருவேன்.
I love you, LORD, my strength.

2கர்த்தர் என் கன்மலையும், என் கோட்டையும், என் இரட்சகரும், என் தேவனும், நான் அடைக்கலம் புகும் என் துருகமும், என் கேடகமும், என் இரட்சணியக் கொம்பும், என் உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமுமாயிருக்கிறார்.
The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.

3துதிக்குப் பாத்திரராகிய கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுவேன்; அதனால் என் சத்துருக்களுக்கு நீங்கலாகி இரட்சிக்கப்படுவேன்.
I call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; and I am saved from my enemies.

4மரணக்கட்டுகள் என்னைச் சுற்றிக்கொண்டன; துர்ச்சனப்பிரவாகம் என்னைப் பயப்படுத்தினது.
The cords of death surrounded me. The floods of ungodliness made me afraid.

5பாதாளக்கட்டுகள் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டதன; மரணக் கண்ணிகள் என்மேல் விழுந்தன.
The cords of Sheol were around me. The snares of death came on me.

6எனக்கு உண்டான நெருக்கத்திலே கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன், என் தேவனை நோக்கி அபயமிட்டேன்; தமது ஆலயத்திலிருந்து என் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டார், என் கூப்பிடுதல் அவர் சந்நிதியில் போய், அவர் செவிகளில் ஏறிற்று.
In my distress I called on the LORD, and cried to my God. He heard my voice out of his temple. My cry before him came into his ears.

7அவர் கோபங்கொண்டபடியால் பூமி அசைந்து அதிர்ந்தது, பர்வதங்களின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் குலுங்கி அசைந்தன.
Then the earth shook and trembled. The foundations also of the mountains quaked and were shaken, because he was angry.

8அவர் நாசியிலிருந்து புகை எழும்பிற்று, அவர் வாயிலிருந்து பட்சிக்கிற அக்கினி புறப்பட்டது; அதனால் தழல் மூண்டது.
Smoke went out of his nostrils. Consuming fire came out of his mouth. Coals were kindled by it.

9வானங்களைத் தாழ்த்தி இறங்கினார்; அவர் பாதங்களின்கீழ் காரிருள் இருந்தது.
He bowed the heavens also, and came down. Thick darkness was under his feet.

10கேருபீன்மேல் ஏறி வேகமாய்ச் சென்றார்; காற்றின் செட்டைகளைக் கொண்டு பறந்தார்.
He rode on a cherub, and flew. Yes, he soared on the wings of the wind.

11இருளைத் தமக்கு மறைவிடமாக்கினார்; நீர் கொண்டு கறுத்த கார்மேகங்களையும் தம்மைச்சூழக் கூடாரமாக்கினார்.
He made darkness his hiding place, his pavilion around him, darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.

12அவருடைய சந்நிதிப் பிரகாசத்தினால் அவருடைய மேகங்கள், கல்மழையும் நெருப்புத்தழலையும் பொழிந்தன.
At the brightness before him his thick clouds passed, hailstones and coals of fire.

13கர்த்தர் வானங்களிலே குமுறினார், உன்னதமானவர் தமது சத்தத்தைத் தொனிக்கப்பண்ணினார்; கல்மழையும் நெருப்புத்தழலும் பொழிந்தன.
The LORD also thundered in the sky. The Most High uttered his voice: hailstones and coals of fire.

14தம்முடைய அம்புகளை எய்து, அவர்களைச் சிதறடித்தார்; மின்னல்களைப் பிரயோகித்து, அவர்களைக் கலங்கப்பண்ணினார்.
He sent out his arrows, and scattered them. He routed them with great lightning bolts.

15அப்பொழுது கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய கண்டிதத்தினாலும் உம்முடைய நாசியின் சுவாசக்காற்றினாலும் தண்ணீர்களின் ஆழங்கள் தென்பட்டன, பூதலத்தின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் வெளிப்பட்டன.
Then the channels of waters appeared. The foundations of the world were laid bare at your rebuke, LORD, at the blast of the breath of your nostrils.

16உயரத்திலிருந்து அவர் கைநீட்டி, என்னைப் பிடித்து, ஜலப்பிரவாகத்திலிருந்து என்னைத் தூக்கிவிட்டார்.
He sent from on high. He took me. He drew me out of many waters.

17என்னிலும் பலவான்களாயிருந்த என் பலத்த சத்துருவுக்கும் என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களுக்கும் என்னை விடுவித்தார்.
He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me; for they were too mighty for me.

18என் ஆபத்துநாளில் எனக்கு எதிரிட்டு வந்தார்கள்; கர்த்தரோ எனக்கு ஆதரவாயிருந்தார்.
They came on me in the day of my calamity, but the LORD was my support.

19என்மேல் அவர் பிரியமாயிருந்தபடியால்பிரியமாயிருந்தபடியால், விசாலமான இடத்திலே என்னைக் கொண்டுவந்து, என்னைத் தப்புவித்தார்.
He brought me out also into a large place. He delivered me, because he delighted in me.

20கர்த்தர் என் நீதிக்குத்தக்கதாக எனக்குப் பதிலளித்தார்; என் கைகளின் சுத்தத்திற்குத்தக்கதாக எனக்குச் சரிக்கட்டினார்.
The LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness. According to the cleanness of my hands, he has recompensed me.

21ஏனெனில் கர்த்தருடைய வழிகளைக் கைக்கொண்டுவந்தேன்; நான் என் தேவனைவிட்டுத் துன்மார்க்கமாய் விலகினதில்லை.
For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

22அவருடைய நியாயங்களையெல்லாம் எனக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கின்றன; அவருடைய பிரமாணங்களை நான் தள்ளிப்போடவில்லை.
For all his ordinances were before me. I didn’t put away his statutes from me.

23அவர் முன்பாக நான் உத்தமனாயிருந்து, என் துர்க்குணத்துக்கு என்னை விலக்கிக் காத்துக்கொண்டேன்.
I was also blameless with him. I kept myself from my iniquity.

24ஆகையால் கர்த்தர் என் நீதிக்குத் தக்கதாகவும், தம்முடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்னிருக்கிற என் கைகளின் சுத்தத்திற்கும் தக்கதாகவும் எனக்குப் பலனளித்தார்.
Therefore the LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.

25தயவுள்ளவனுக்கு நீர் தயவுள்ளவராகவும், உத்தமனுக்கு நீர் உத்தமராகவும்;
With the merciful you will show yourself merciful. With the perfect man, you will show yourself perfect.

26புனிதனுக்கு நீர் புனிதராகவும், மாறுபாடுள்ளவனுக்கு நீர் மாறுபடுகிறவராகவும் தோன்றுவீர்.
With the pure, you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.

27தேவரீர் சிறுமைப்பட்ட ஜனத்தை இரட்சிப்பீர்; மேட்டிமையான கண்களைத் தாழ்த்துவீர்.
For you will save the afflicted people, but the arrogant eyes you will bring down.

28தேவரீர் என் விளக்கை ஏற்றுவீர்; என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என் இருளை வெளிச்சமாக்குவார்.
For you will light my lamp, LORD. My God will light up my darkness.

29உம்மாலே ஒரு சேனைக்குள் பாய்ந்துபோவேன்; என் தேவனாலே ஒரு மதிலைத் தாண்டுவேன்.
For by you, I advance through a troop. By my God, I leap over a wall.

30தேவனுடைய வழி உத்தமமானது; கர்த்தருடைய வசனம் புடமிடப்பட்டது; தம்மை நம்புகிற அனைவருக்கும் அவர் கேடகமாயிருக்கிறார்.
As for God, his way is perfect. The LORD’s word is tried. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.

31கர்த்தரை அல்லாமல் தேவன் யார்? நம்முடைய தேவனையன்றிக் கன்மலையும் யார்?
For who is God, except the LORD? Who is a rock, besides our God,

32என்னைப் பலத்தால் இடைகட்டி, என் வழியைச் செவ்வைப்படுத்துகிறவர் தேவனே.
the God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect?

33அவர் என் கால்களை மான்களுடைய கால்களைப்போலாக்கி, என் உயர்தலங்களில் என்னை நிறுத்துகிறார்.
He makes my feet like deer’s feet, and sets me on my high places.

34வெண்கல வில்லும் என் புயங்களால் வளையும்படி, என் கைகளை யுத்தத்திற்குப் பழக்குவிக்கிறார்.
He teaches my hands to war, so that my arms bend a bow of bronze.

35உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பின் கேடகத்தையும் எனக்குத் தந்தீர்; உம்முடைய வலதுகரம் என்னைத் தாங்குகிறது; உம்முடைய காருணியம் என்னைப் பெரியவனாக்கும்.
You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand sustains me. Your gentleness has made me great.

36என் கால்கள் வழுவாதபடிக்கு, நான் நடக்கிற வழியை அகலமாக்கினீர்.
You have enlarged my steps under me, My feet have not slipped.

37என் சத்துருக்களைப் பின்தொடர்ந்து, அவர்களைப் பிடித்தேன்; அவர்களை நிர்மூலமாக்கும் வரைக்கும் நான் திரும்பவில்லை.
I will pursue my enemies, and overtake them. I won’t turn away until they are consumed.

38அவர்கள் எழுந்திருக்க முடியாதபடி அவர்களை வெட்டினேன்.
I will strike them through, so that they will not be able to rise. They shall fall under my feet.

39யுத்தத்திற்கு நீர் என்னைப் பலத்தால் இடைகட்டி, என்மேல் எழும்பினவர்களை என் கீழ் மடங்கப்பண்ணினீர்.
For you have armed me with strength to the battle. You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.

40நான் என் பகைஞரைச் சங்கரிக்கும்படியாக, என் சத்துருக்களின் பிடரியை எனக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தீர்.
You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me.

41அவர்கள் கூப்பிடுகிறார்கள், அவர்களை இரட்சிப்பார் ஒருவருமில்லை; கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறார்கள், அவர்களுக்கு அவர் பதிலளிக்கிறதில்லை.
They cried, but there was no one to save; even to the LORD, but he didn’t answer them.

42நான் அவர்களைக் காற்றுமுகத்திலே பறக்கிற தூளாக இடித்து, தெருக்களிலுள்ள சேற்றைப்போல் அவர்களை எறிந்துபோடுகிறேன்.
Then I beat them small as the dust before the wind. I cast them out as the mire of the streets.

43ஜனங்களின் கலகங்களுக்கு நீர் என்னைத் தப்புவித்தீர், ஜாதிகளுக்கு என்னைத் தலைவனாக்குகிறீர்; நான் அறியாத ஜனங்கள் என்னைச் சேவிக்கிறார்கள்.
You have delivered me from the strivings of the people. You have made me the head of the nations. A people whom I have not known shall serve me.

44அவர்கள் என் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டவுடனே எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறார்கள்; அந்நியரும் என்னிடம் கூனிக் குறுகுகிறார்கள்.
As soon as they hear of me they shall obey me. The foreigners shall submit themselves to me.

45அந்நியர் மனமடிந்து, தங்கள் அரண்களிலிருந்து தத்தளிப்பாய்ப் புறப்படுகிறார்கள்.
The foreigners shall fade away, and shall come trembling out of their strongholds.

46கர்த்தர் ஜீவனுள்ளவர்; என் கன்மலையானவர் ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கப்படுவாராக; என் இரட்சிப்பின் தேவன் உயர்ந்திருப்பாராக.
The LORD lives! Blessed be my rock. Exalted be the God of my salvation,

47அவர் எனக்காகப் பழிக்குப் பழிவாங்குகிற தேவன். அவர் ஜனங்களை எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்துகிறவர்.
even the God who executes vengeance for me, and subdues peoples under me.

48அவரே என் சத்துருக்களுக்கு என்னை விலக்கி விடுவிக்கிறவர்; எனக்கு விரோதமாய் எழும்புகிறவர்களைவிட என்னை நீர் உயர்த்தி, கொடுமையான மனுஷனுக்கு என்னைத் தப்புவிக்கிறீர்.
He rescues me from my enemies. Yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me. You deliver me from the violent man.

49இதினிமித்தம் கர்த்தாவே, ஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே உம்மைத் துதித்து, உம்முடைய நாமத்திற்குச் சங்கீதம் பாடுவேன்.
Therefore I will give thanks to you, LORD, among the nations, and will sing praises to your name.

50தாம் ஏற்படுத்தின இராஜாவுக்கு மகத்தான இரட்சிப்பை அளித்து, தாம் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணின தாவீதுக்கும் அவன் சந்ததிக்கும் சதாகாலமும் கிருபை செய்கிறார்.
He gives great deliverance to his king, and shows loving kindness to his anointed, to David and to his offspring, forever more.
