1கர்த்தாவே, ஆழங்களிலிருந்து உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறேன்.
Out of the depths I have cried to you, LORD.

2ஆண்டவரே, என் சத்தத்தைக் கேளும்; என் விண்ணப்பங்களின் சத்தத்திற்கு உமது செவிகள் கவனித்திருப்பதாக.
Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions.

3கர்த்தாவே, நீர் அக்கிரமங்களைக் கவனித்திருப்பீரானால், யார் நிலைநிற்பான், ஆண்டவரே.
If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?

4உமக்குப் பயப்படும்படிக்கு உம்மிடத்தில் மன்னிப்பு உண்டு.
But there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared.

5கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறேன்; என் ஆத்துமா காத்திருக்கிறது; அவருடைய வார்த்தையை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்.
I wait for the LORD. My soul waits. I hope in his word.

6எப்பொழுது விடியும் என்று விடியற்காலத்துக்குக் காத்திருக்கிற ஜாமக்காரரைப்பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாய் என் ஆத்துமா ஆண்டவருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறது.
My soul longs for the Lord more than watchmen long for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.

7இஸ்ரவேல் கர்த்தரை நம்பியிருப்பதாக; கர்த்தரிடத்தில் கிருபையும், அவரிடத்தில் திரளான மீட்பும் உண்டு.
Israel, hope in the LORD, for there is loving kindness with the LORD. Abundant redemption is with him.

8அவர் இஸ்ரவேலை அதின் சகல அக்கிரமங்களின்றும் மீட்டுக்கொள்வார்.
He will redeem Israel from all their sins.
