7அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் கோபமூண்டு, அவர்களைப் பெலிஸ்தர் கையிலும், அம்மோன் புத்திரர் கையிலும் விற்றுப்போட்டார்.

10அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் கர்த்தரை நோக்கி முறையிட்டு: உமக்கு விரோதமாகப் பாவஞ்செய்தோம்; நாங்கள் எங்கள் தேவனைவிட்டு, பாகால்களைச் சேவித்தோம் என்றார்கள்.
