1ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோன் சமஸ்த இஸ்ரவேலின்மேலும் ராஜாவாயிருந்தான்.
King Solomon was king over all Israel.

2அவனுக்கு இருந்த பிரபுக்கள்: சாதோக்கின் குமாரனாகிய அசரியா பிரதான மந்திரியாயிருந்தான்.
These were the princes whom he had: Azariah the son of Zadok, the priest;

3சீசாவின் குமாரராகிய ஏலிகோரேப்பும் அகியாவும் சம்பிரதிகளாயிருந்தார்கள்; அகிலூதின் குமாரன் யோசபாத் மந்திரியாயிருந்தான்.
Elihoreph and Ahijah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder;

4யோய்தாவின் குமாரன் பெனாயா படைத்தலைவனும், சாதோக்கும் அபியத்தாரும் ஆசாரியர்களுமாயிருந்தார்கள்.
Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the army; Zadok and Abiathar were priests;

5நாத்தானின் குமாரன் அசரியா மணியகாரரின் தலைவனாயிருந்தான்; நாத்தானின் குமாரன் சாபூத் ராஜாவின் பிரதானியும் இஷ்டனுமாயிருந்தான்.
Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers; Zabud the son of Nathan was chief minister, the king’s friend;

6அகீஷார் அரமனை விசாரிப்புக்காரனும், அப்தாவின் குமாரன் அதோனீராம் பகுதி விசாரிப்புக்காரனுமாய் இருந்தான்.
Ahishar was over the household; and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the men subject to forced labor.

7ராஜாவுக்கும் அவன் அரமனைக்கும் வேண்டிய உணவுப்பொருள்களைச் சேகரிக்கிற பன்னிரண்டு மணியகாரர் சாலொமோனுக்கு இஸ்ரவேல் தேசமெங்கும் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் மாதத்துக்கு ஒவ்வொருவராக வருஷமுழுவதும் பராமரித்துவந்தார்கள்.
Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, who provided food for the king and his household. Each man had to make provision for a month in the year.

8அவர்கள் நாமங்களாவன: ஊரின் குமாரன், இவன் எப்பிராயீம் மலைத் தேசத்தில் இருந்தான்.
These are their names: Ben Hur, in the hill country of Ephraim;

9தேக்கேரின் குமாரன், இவன் மாக்காத்சிலும், சால்பீமிலும், பெத்ஷிமேசிலும், ஏலோன்பெத்தானானிலும் இருந்தான்.
Ben Deker, in Makaz, in Shaalbim, Beth Shemesh, and Elon Beth Hanan;

10ஏசேதின் குமாரன், இவன் அறுபோத்தில் இருந்தான்; சோகோவும் எப்பேர் சீமையனைத்தும் இவன் விசாரிப்பில் இருந்தது.
Ben Hesed, in Arubboth (Socoh and all the land of Hepher belonged to him);

11அபினதாபின் குமாரன், இவன் தோரின் நாட்டுப்புறமனைத்திற்கும் விசாரிப்புக்காரனாயிருந்தான்; சாலொமோனின் குமாரத்தியாகிய தாபாத் இவனுக்கு மனைவியாயிருந்தாள்.
Ben Abinadab, in all the height of Dor (he had Taphath, Solomon’s daughter, as wife);

12அகிலூதின் குமாரனாகிய பானா, இவன் விசாரிப்பில், தானாகும், மெகிதோவும், சர்த்தனாவுக்குப் பக்கமாகவும் யெஸ்ரயேலுக்குக் கீழாகவும் பெத்செயான் தொடங்கி ஆபேல் மெகொல்லாமட்டும் யக்மெயாமுக்கு அப்புறத்துமட்டும் இருக்கிற பெத்செயான் அனைத்தும் இருந்தது.
Baana the son of Ahilud, in Taanach and Megiddo, and all Beth Shean which is beside Zarethan, beneath Jezreel, from Beth Shean to Abel Meholah, as far as beyond Jokmeam;

13கேபேரின் குமாரன், இவன் கீலேயாத்திலுள்ள ராமோத்தில் இருந்தான்; கீலேயாத்திலுள்ள மனாசேயின் குமாரனாகிய யாவீரின் கிராமங்களும் மதில்களும் வெண்கலத் தாழ்ப்பாள்களுமுள்ள பாசான் தேசத்தினுடைய அறுபது பெரிய பட்டணங்களுள்ள அர்கோப் சீமையும் இவன் விசாரிப்பில் இருந்தது.
Ben Geber, in Ramoth Gilead (the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead, belonged to him; and the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, sixty great cities with walls and bronze bars, belonged to him);

14இத்தோவின் குமாரன் அகினதாப், இவன் மக்னாயீமில் இருந்தான்.
Ahinadab the son of Iddo, in Mahanaim;

15அகிமாஸ், இவன் நப்தலியில் இருந்தான்; இவன் சாலொமோனுக்கு இருந்த ஒரு குமாரத்தியாகிய பஸ்மாத் என்பவளை விவாகம்பண்ணினான்.
Ahimaaz, in Naphtali (he also took Basemath the daughter of Solomon as wife);

16ஊசாயின் குமாரன் பானா, இவன் ஆசேரிலும் ஆலோத்திலும் இருந்தான்.
Baana the son of Hushai, in Asher and Bealoth;

17பருவாவின் குமாரன் யோசபாத், இவன் இசக்காரில் இருந்தான்.
Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar;

18ஏலாவின் குமாரன் சீமேயி, இவன் பென்யமீனில் இருந்தான்.
Shimei the son of Ela, in Benjamin;

19ஊரியின் குமாரன் கேபேர், இவன் எமோரியரின் ராஜாவாகிய சீகோனுக்கும் பாசானின் ராஜாவாகிய ஓகுக்கும் இருந்த தேசமாகிய கீலேயாத் தேசத்தில் இருந்தான்; இவன் மாத்திரம் அத்தேசத்தில் அதிபதியாய் இருந்தான்.
Geber the son of Uri, in the land of Gilead, the country of Sihon king of the Amorites and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the only officer who was in the land.

20யூதாவும் இஸ்ரவேலும் கடற்கரை மணலத்தனை ஏராளமாயிருந்து, புசித்துக்குடித்து மகிழ்ந்து கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.
Judah and Israel were numerous as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking and making merry.

21நதிதொடங்கி, பெலிஸ்தர் தேசவழியாய் எகிப்தின் எல்லைமட்டும் இருக்கிற சகல ராஜ்யங்களையும் சாலொமோன் ஆண்டுகொண்டிருந்தான்; அவர்கள் சாலொமோனுக்குக் காணிக்கைகளைக் கொண்டுவந்து, அவன் உயிரோடிருந்த நாளெல்லாம் அவனைச் சேவித்தார்கள்.
Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the River to the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt. They brought tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.

22நாள் ஒன்றிற்குச் சாலொமோனுக்குச் செல்லும் சாப்பாட்டுச் செலவு, முப்பது மரக்கால் மெல்லிய மாவும், அறுபது மரக்கால் மாவும்,
Solomon’s provision for one day was thirty cors of fine flour, sixty measures of meal,

23கலைமான்களையும் வெளிமான்களையும் வரையாடுகளையும் கொழுமையான பறவைகளையும் தவிர, கொழுக்கப்பட்ட பத்து மாடுகளும், மேய்ச்சலிலிருந்து வந்த இருபது மாடுகளும் நூறு ஆடுகளுமாம்.
ten head of fat cattle, twenty head of cattle out of the pastures, and one hundred sheep, in addition to deer, gazelles, roebucks, and fattened fowl.

24நதிக்கு இப்புறத்தில் இருக்கிற திப்சாமுதற்கொண்டு ஆசாமட்டுமுள்ளவையெல்லாவற்றையும், நதிக்கு இப்புறத்திலுள்ள சகல ராஜாக்களையும் ஆண்டுவந்தான்; அவனைச் சுற்றி எங்கும் சமாதானமாயிருந்தது.
For he had dominion over all on this side of the River, from Tiphsah even to Gaza, over all the kings on this side of the River; and he had peace on all sides around him.

25சாலொமோனுடைய நாளெல்லாம் தாண் துவக்கிப் பெயெர்செபாமட்டும், யூதாவும் இஸ்ரவேலும் அவரவர் தங்கள் தங்கள் திராட்சச்செடியின் நிழலிலும், தங்கள் தங்கள் அத்திமரத்தின் நிழலிலும் சுகமாய்க் குடியிருந்தார்கள்.
Judah and Israel lived safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.

26சாலொமோனுக்கு நாலாயிரம் இரதக்குதிரைலாயங்களும், பன்னீராயிரம் குதிரை வீரரும் இருந்தார்கள்.
Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

27மேற்சொல்லிய மணியகாரரில் ஒவ்வொருவரும் தன்தன் மாதத்திலே சாலொமோன் ராஜாவுக்கும், ராஜாவின் பந்திக்கு வரும் யாவருக்கும் வேண்டியவைகளை ஒரு குறைவுமின்றி பராமரித்து,
Those officers provided food for King Solomon, and for all who came to King Solomon’s table, every man in his month. They let nothing be lacking.

28குதிரைகளுக்கும் ஒட்டகங்களுக்கும் வேண்டிய வாற்கோதுமையையும், வைக்கோலையும், அவரவர் தங்களுக்கு இடப்பட்ட கட்டளையின்படி அவைகள் இருக்கும் ஸ்தலத்திற்குக் கொண்டுவருவார்கள்.
They also brought barley and straw for the horses and swift steeds to the place where the officers were, each man according to his duty.

29தேவன் சாலொமோனுக்கு மிகுதியான ஞானத்தையும் புத்தியையும், கடற்கரை மணலத்தனையான மனோவிருத்தியையும் கொடுத்தார்.
God gave Solomon abundant wisdom, understanding, and breadth of mind like the sand that is on the seashore.

30சகல கிழக்கத்திப் புத்திரரின் ஞானத்தையும் எகிப்தியரின் சகல ஞானத்தையும்பார்க்கிலும் சாலொமோனின் ஞானம் சிறந்ததாயிருந்தது.
Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east and all the wisdom of Egypt.

31அவன் எஸ்ராகியனாகிய ஏத்தானிலும், ஏமான், கல்கோல், தர்தா என்னும் மாகோலின் குமாரரிலும், மற்ற எல்லா மனுஷரிலும் ஞானவானாயிருந்தான்; சுற்றிலும் இருந்த சகல ஜாதிகளிலும் அவன் கீர்த்தி பிரபலமாயிருந்தது.
For he was wiser than all men—wiser than Ethan the Ezrahite, Heman, Calcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol; and his fame was in all the nations all around.

32அவன் மூவாயிரம் நீதிமொழிகளைச் சொன்னான்; அவனுடைய பாட்டுகள் ஆயிரத்து ஐந்து.
He spoke three thousand proverbs, and his songs numbered one thousand five.

33லீபனோனில் இருக்கிற கேதுரு மரங்கள் முதற்கொண்டு சுவரில் முளைக்கிற ஈசோப்புப் பூண்டு வரைக்குமுள்ள மரமுதலிய தாவரங்களைக்குறித்தும், மிருகங்கள் பறவைகள் ஊரும் பிராணிகள் மச்சங்கள் ஆகிய இவைகளைக் குறித்தும் வாக்கியங்களைச் சொன்னான்.
He spoke of trees, from the cedar that is in Lebanon even to the hyssop that grows out of the wall; he also spoke of animals, of birds, of creeping things, and of fish.

34சாலொமோனின் ஞானத்தைக் குறித்துக் கேள்விப்பட்ட பூமியின் சகல ராஜாக்களிடத்திலுமிருந்து நானாஜாதியான ஜனங்களும் அவனுடைய ஞானத்தைக் கேட்கிறதற்கு வந்தார்கள்.
People of all nations came to hear the wisdom of Solomon, sent by all kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom.
